Field experience for online students

As part of your online degree in Human Development and Family Studies you may be required to complete a field study or other hands-on experience. To find opportunities for field study, contact local nursing homes, day care centers, mental health facilities and other social service programs to see if they offer internships or opportunities for you to observe. Explain that you are a student and are looking for a field study opportunity. Additionally, volunteering with these organizations can give you valuable hands-on experience.
