June 12, 2009, Newsletter Issue #161: Electrical Engineering Degree Requirements

Tip of the Week

Electrical engineering degree requirements are usually very similar regardless of the school you attend or whether you obtain your degree online or in a traditional classroom. Obtaining an electrical engineering degree is typically a very rigorous process which involves an extensive course load of both core engineering classes as well as courses specific to electrical engineering. Some of the electrical engineering courses students should be prepared to take will likely include electro-magnetics, semi-conductor devices and electronics.

Some of the course courses required early in the process of obtaining an electrical engineering degree but it is important to note these foundation classes form the core of the student’s education. Mastering the concepts learned in these core courses often make it easier for students to comprehend more complex theories required specifically for completing an electrical engineering degree.
