Tip of the Week

A registered nurse, or RN, is a degreed individual who is trained and licensed to practice nursing after receiving their degree online or in class. An RN can be a graduate of an associate or bachelor degree program online or on campus, depending on the particular requirements of the state. Upon graduating from nursing school and passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), an RN trains in a medical setting for many hours. The work schedule includes long, erratic hours and includes overseeing LVNs and orderlies.
