Do I need to take the Scholastic Aptitude Examination (SAT)?

The Scholastic Aptitude Examination (SAT) is an assessment test given to high school students that is used by universities as part of their admissions criteria. However, many people working in the information science and technical industry are self-taught and never went to college. Did you know that adult students considering an online degree program in information science and technology may be able to have this requirement waived? If you are over 24 years of age and have been out of school for five years, you may not need to take the Scholastic Aptitude Examination (SAT) for admission to an online degree program. Additionally, if you served four years in the military and received an honorable discharge, you may be able to waive this requirement.
