July 25, 2008, Newsletter Issue #116: e-Learning Work Ethics

Tip of the Week

Although there are many conveniences to online degrees that make them appealing to professionals, stay-at-home parents, and military personnel, it does require a fair amount of work ethic. Sure, you can attend class whenever you want to, but the trick is to make yourself actually do it. Although online professors will set deadlines, most courses are self-led. Be sure to motivate yourself to finish each project as promptly as your schedule will allow. Stay dedicated and determined to completing each class. Remind yourself of the rewards a bachelor degree can bring and that with diligence, the degree can be finished in as few as two or three years.
