There are actually several different kinds of learning environments for an online bachelor degree. Some courses for online bachelor degrees are given in a synchronous manner, meaning that you take it at the same time as other students and can participate in a live chat, or “virtual classroom”, for lectures. Other courses are offered asynchronously, in which you may want to communicate with other students via message boards and e-mail. While there are instructor-led online courses, there are many that will be mentor-led or completely learned through computer software and textbooks. In order to get the most out of your online education, try to find out which learning environment is best for you.
