Obtaining an online liberal arts degree is quite similar to the process of earning a degree in a more traditional way. It will include selecting a degree program, applying and being accepted for enrollment, completing required course materials successfully and passing examinations related to the major. Some of the required courses may include American literature, English literature, creative writing, technical writing and journalism. The exact courses taken will depend on the student’s personal preferences as well as his concentration.
