July 27, 2007, Newsletter Issue #64: Equal Rights For Online Degrees

Tip of the Week

Although still a fairly new option for students, a bachelor degree from an accredited university is legitimate whether it was obtained via Internet or in person. In fact, an online degree may demonstrate even more tenacity in a college graduate. After all, one must be very disciplined to set a schedule and adhere to it without anyone looking over their shoulder. The same amount of work and credit hours must be finished when earning a bachelor degree online, and most employers know that. Anyone under the impression that online degrees are easier will soon be educated as the number of distance learning graduates grows.
